Lee Oskar Harmonicas Designates GEWA Music as Major European Market Distributor
Leading harmonica manufacturer Lee Oskar Harmonicas announces that GEWA Winds, a Division of GEWA Music, headquartered in Adorf, Germany, has been designated as the major distributor of Lee Oskar Harmonicas products serving the European market. Under this new collaboration, GEWA’s territory includes all European countries except for Sweden and Denmark, (which Crafton Music continues to handle); Norway (which Musikk Og Elektronik continues to handle); the United Kingdom (which Barnes and Mullins continues to handle), Czech Republic (which 3D Music continues to handle) and Benelux (which Total Sonic continues to handle).
Lee Oskar Harmonicas Founder and President Lee Oskar comments, “Given today’s business environment, particularly with open borders in Europe, the time was right for us to select an outstanding distributor who could best handle most of the European market—especially since global marketing, brand image and overall messaging need to be consistent throughout all countries in the region. GEWA was an ideal choice in light of their longstanding credibility, extensive infrastructure and marketing savvy. We’re very excited to see that the GEWA team fully recognizes the value of marketing as we do, and we are delighted to have them as our distribution partner in this important part of the world.”
According to Hans-Peter Messner, GEWA Music President and Owner, “For more than 40 years, I have been in the harmonica business. I have had thousands of talks with harmonica enthusiasts. Therefore, I think I know who is doing the best job: LEE OSKAR, there is no doubt! Therefore, Gewa is so proud to take over the responsibility for distribution of Lee Oskar Harmonicas for most of the European countries. It’s even more: it’s an honor for my company. Thank you, Lee!”
A complete listing of European retailers served by GEWA carrying the Lee Oskar Harmonicas product line will become available online in the near future.
